Hello Everyone, and welcome back to another Miltech Simulations Dev Blog.
These have been well received, and we plan to continue them on a monthly basis - potentially expanding with additional content such as podcasts or videos in the future.

MH60 and the Future
MH60 has been our most successful release to date. The aircraft now ranks as the best-rated helicopter in the MSFS Marketplace along with CH47, and community satisfaction is very high.
However, no release is perfect. There are various pending bugs to address. You may expect a new update to drop in the upcoming weeks, primarily focusing on these:
- APU Fuel Valves closing, making APU INOP.
- Multiplayer compatibility and model-matching improvements.
- MFD Stability improvements to avoid coherent or map crashes.
- Tweaked engine values (Torque, Ng)
- Adding explosion effects to hellfire craters (PC Only)
- Improvements to Autopilot and Trims
MSFS2024 Marketplace Release
As some of you may be aware, we've had some trouble getting the MH60 through MSFS2024 Marketplace Ingestion. Several errors have arisen, and the Microsoft Marketplace engineering team is actively investigating. Unfortunately, as of today (September 7th), we don’t yet have any new information or a confirmed release date. We remain hopeful the matter will be resolved in the coming days, allowing us to move forward with release.
Officially announcing: Miltech Simulations UH60, in partnership with Blackbird Simulations
Due to popular demand, we are expanding the ‘Hawk’ family with the addition of the iconic UH60.
Our initial focus will be on the Alpha and Lima variants, offering cockpit variety to suit different preferences. Both versions remain widely operated today, by private owners as well as armed forces around the world. Mike and other S70 variants are currently not planned.
While the UH60 shares some similarities with the MH60, it also features significant differences. For this reason, it will be released as a separate, standalone aircraft, with potential discounts for MH60 owners.
As for timing, the UH60 is currently planned for release in early 2026.
Mission Hub and the Future
Mission Hub has already proven to be a great success, with many users embracing its flexibility and creative potential. At the same time, we recognize that there are areas that need refinement and improvement. We are preparing the first major update, scheduled to release soon. Several bugs and instability issues have been resolved, along with new assets and functions being added.
The full tentative changelog is available here: https://miltechsimulations.talkyard.net/-353/miltech-mission-hub-release-notes
MS Marketplace Release (PC, Xbox)
Miltech Mission Hub is scheduled to release on the Microsoft Marketplace for PC and Xbox this September. During early testing, it became clear that additional optimization was needed for the Xbox platform, which has strict LOD and memory requirements. With Version 1.0.1, many of these improvements have been completed, paving the way for the product’s release on Xbox.
Please note that at launch, Xbox users will not be able to share missions or access community-created missions. We are actively working on a cloud-based mission sharing solution to bring this functionality in a future update.
